I'm glad so many of you got so much done today in the computer lab! As you might have noticed, the answers to many of the questions you were asking were on this site, take some time and look around. Follow the link on why blogging is so powerful to an interesting tech article. Good luck and happy blogging!

Liciali, your site is looking a whole lot better. I can't wait to see that Spongebob image link! And Lucious, I'm curious to see what you can do with that HTML book you picked up. Good luck! I hope you're all ready for tomorrow's quiz on parabolas and circles.

Tata! Wow! You figured out how to copy my animated links. Well done! You've completed the next two assignments I'm going to give you. Now can you figure out how to get leaves to fall on your site? And you still need to make a link to me. Why not change the address of the smoothcaramel link? Change it from smoothcaramel2003 to tikelis. You don't need a link to your own site on your own site. Good luck!

Lala love what you did! Looks good. I'm glad you want to figure out the animation links. Right click on my background and select view source to check out the code for my links. I marked them with BIG message tags. Good luck and keep up the good work!

Alicia, I got your message. Is this your address: liciali.blogspot.com? That's what that little frog is connecting to. I don't see anything new on that. Have you published everything that you've done to your template? The publish button is that big yellow one on the right when your editing your blog. When you publish you're putting your saved work onto your site. Maybe at the end of class we'll have some time to get online and see what's going on.

Some of you have already gotten the hang of making links and have asked me how to make leaves fall on your site and other cool stuff. I want you to right-click on the background of this site and select view source so you can check out my template.
If anyone has done anything new to their sites please leave me a message in the guestbook.

Taurean, I commend your efforts but maybe you need to start over with a new template.

Chris G., you almost have a link just check its address; it should be "http://tikelis.blogspot.com" not "http://c-span.blogspot.com/http://tikelis.blogspot.com"

Good luck!
Kids, I need all of you to have links to my site on your site. Some of you didn't get that done on time. Please come by Tuesday or Thursday after-school or during third block Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

Links start with:

a href=

and end with:

/a

When you want to make a link, find a link in your template and copy and paste. Copy the link and paste the copy next to the original. You should be able to find your blogger button link at the bottom of your template.

Links go to websites look like this:

Links have image sources (img src) like this:

Be careful not to delete any karats(">" and "<") . They are very important.

If you still need help go to the support link at http://www.blogger.com/ and enter your question in the space provided, email your colleagues or leave a message in the guestbook.

For those of you who haven't succeeded in making a link to my site, change your template to one formatted to give you links (templates that have link#1, link#2 or fav 1, fav 2) and put a link in. Ask your colleagues. Send them e-mails! Check out the support link on the blogger homepage, read this blog for more info or ask me something in the guestbook. Good luck!

Son of a gun! Have you seen koolkat's blog? She's got links to just about everybody! She even made a graphic link to BET.com! Check her out! She's the angel next to the bullfrog.

Hey kids, where do you go on the internet? Please put some URL's in this comment link. And I'll add them to the site.

For my Advanced Algebra students:

By Friday I want you to have a link to my site (tikelis.blogspot.com). It's worth 2 points. You can make a link in a post. Or better yet, make a link in your template. Most of you picked templates that have the links already formatted for you to put your URL's in. Your links do not have to be animated. So take a look at your sites. Maybe you have a spot where it says, "link 1, link 2, link 3, etc" or "fav#1, fav#2". Well, go to your template and find where it says link 1 or fav#1 and replace whatever URL is there (probably http://www.blogger.com/) with http://tikelis.blogspot.com/

"How do I edit my template?" Log into http://www.blogger.com/ and edit your blog. Click on the Template button so you can edit your template.

Good luck! Any other questions can be left in the guestbook. And you can try using the support link on the blogger home page, it's on the upper right-hand side of the site.
